Project Description:
Following the successful commercial installation of PICSPAVE Porcelain 4’x2’ design at The Ridge Golf Club in Maidstone, Artisan Contractor, Grand Impressions were delighted to receive further instruction for Friday Street Farm;

The installation at Friday Street Farm features a long sweeping driveway imprinted in London Cobble design using textured skins for stone effect to the borders and Pacific Boardwalk timber mats have been used to enhance the breakout areas.
A combination of colours and textures have been used to complement the existing stone, brick and timber features of the period properties and beautiful surrounding areas.

Project Requirements:
To create sympathetic and natural looking paved areas which blend well with the period properties and deliver a long life, low maintenance solution. Grand Impressions Director, Joe Wood, provided a turnkey solution involving project design, groundworks, installation and sealing services. PICS supported the project with timely supply of colour surface hardener, release agents, imprinting mats, textured skins, high performance sealer and PICS Technical Services.
A 20 year durability is assured using PICS colour surface hardener and the prescribed high strength concrete. A simple maintenance plan is in place to preserve the look. PICSPAVE helps to reduce the carbon footprint and indirect environmental impacts of such projects by negating the import of natural stone products from out of area; maintaining work and trade for local businesses and suppliers.
