Project Description: 

Five years in development, the new Hove Beach Skate Plaza opened in September 2024. It was designed and built by Maverick Industries for Brighton and Hove City Council. The Skate Plaza has been crafted out of sprayed concrete using decorative patterns and colours from PICS. The project was awarded the Commercial Golden Trowel Award by The Concrete Society.

Project Requirements: 

Creating visually stunning features across the 980m² of concrete skate plaza to provide a comprehensive mix of durable and low maintenance finishes.

• PICS Colour Surface Hardeners in charcoal, brick red and avon stone
  colours.
